Month of Meals: Grill & Chill Challenge

Wildtree Grill and Chill

Welcome to the Grill & Chill Challenge!

When I first started making a monthly meal plan, I had a meal designated for each day. The intention was to plan every day so we would eat at home every night. However, by the end of the month, I wasn’t following the plan anymore. I need flexibility and I am sure you do too! Therefore, I am supplying you with enough recipes for a month’s worth of meals. From those, you can choose which ones you would like to include in your weekly or monthly meal plan.

These Animals Are Not the Problem

These Animals Are Not The ProblemHello crunchy friends! I am sharing this story with you because it hits close to home as we have four rescued animals. They bring so much joy into our family! So…I asked my friend, Kayla from Dream Big Bark Loudly, to give us some insight into what you may find at a local animal shelter. *hint hint*  Cuteness overload coming!

Summer is generally a much-anticipated season, especially in a college town like Tallahassee. Sure, the weather is hot and humid, but for students there is a sense of freedom, and for the rest of us, less traffic. Unfortunately, summer is not quite so exciting for the staff and volunteers at the Tallahassee Animal Services Center (the municipal animal shelter).

May Meal Plan + How to Make Your Own Meal Plan

May Meal Plan

Welcome to the May Meal Plan! In case you are new to Call Me Crunchy, I will catch you up real quick. We are a family of seven but four of those are fur babies. I enjoy good food, live music, craft beer and spending time with the people I love. In order to spend less time cooking, I plan my meals ahead of time. As a result, I have more time to do the things that bring me joy!

I used to become flustered with getting a homemade meal on the table each night. Then, I found Wildtree and things got a lot easier! At first, I started planning dinner a week ahead of time. We were eating at home but I dreaded having to plan each Sunday. Eventually, I realized that a monthly meal plan could be my best friend. It was tough when I first starting creating them but, through practice, I have come to love making monthly meal plans. It saves me time, money and sanity which makes this mommy very happy.

Foster Love Fundraiser: Buy Groceries, Change Lives

Foster Love Fundraiser

As an Independent Representative for Wildtree, I am able to give back to my community in many ways. In addition to helping others simplify dinnertime, I give a portion of my Wildtree earnings to local nonprofits here in Tallahassee. It’s such a great feeling knowing that my job is making a positive impact in so many lives just by sharing the mission of Wildtree.

Recently, we took the first steps towards becoming foster parents. We are excited to provide a safe, loving home for children in need so I wanted to do more than just donate this month. Therefore, the Foster Love Fundraiser was born! Together, we can change lives!

Marley’s Monsters Unpaper Towels Review

Marley's Monsters Unpaper Towel Review

My family is in the process of phasing out all disposable products from our house. One of the last things we had left was paper towels. We usually keep a kitchen towel hanging from our cabinet by the sink, but we still went through a roll or two a week. Not only is that a lot of waste but it was costly! I was looking for an alternative and came across Marley’s Monsters. These special unpaper towels are mama-made in Eugene, Oregon and are the most beautiful towels you will ever see and are super soft! Win win win!
