My family is in the process of phasing out all disposable products from our house. One of the last things we had left was paper towels. We usually keep a kitchen towel hanging from our cabinet by the sink, but we still went through a roll or two a week. Not only is that a lot of waste but it was costly! I was looking for an alternative and came across Marley’s Monsters. These special unpaper towels are mama-made in Eugene, Oregon and are the most beautiful towels you will ever see and are super soft! Win win win!
“Eco-friendly living essentials for a crunchy family.”
With that kind of tag line, it was an obvious fit for Call Me Crunchy and Marley’s Monsters to come together! They have over 100 prints and 30 solids to choose from in their soft flannel fabric. It is easy to match your current color palette OR find a few cute prints that will entice your family members to use them! Washing instructions are to wash on warm and dry on low. They are high-quality material, well-sewn and simple to use. I have washed our set at least three times now with no fading of color or any change in quality.
So, how do you display these beautiful cloth towels? We like to wrap them up on an old paper towel roll. Since they are made with flannel, they naturally cling together on a roll. I posted a video of this process on my Instagram account if you want to take a peak. It takes just a few minutes to roll up 24 towels. Otherwise, you could just fold them up nicely and lay them on the counter. We store our used towels in a mason jar on the opposite side of the sink of the clean towels. I recommend getting two 24-packs so that you have a clean stash to use while you are washing the dirty towels.
Overall, we have had a spectacular experience with Marley’s Monsters Unpaper Towels. I highly recommend supporting this mama-owned business!
